New Features

AI Vision Blocks – Validate & Extract (Experimental)

  • AI Vision Validate:
    AI-powered text and data validation is now available as a dedicated AI Vision Validate block, enhancing UI validation workflows with greater precision.



  • AI Vision Extract:
    Extract key data from visual elements using an image or screenshot. The AI Vision Extract block now offers enhanced accuracy and includes an improved Source Type dropdown with an image file option for easier input selection.

Enhance automation for D365 Commerce

  • Collaboration with Microsoft: Developed alongside Microsoft’s Product Management team, these improvements streamline critical e-commerce workflows (e.g., adding/modifying products, completing checkouts, processing refunds) so retail teams can test with confidence.

Seamless connectivity & access

  • Effortless SharePoint integrationLeapwork now offers seamless SharePoint integration, enabling effortless automation of workflows that involve SharePoint-hosted data. A new connection type supports direct access to files stored in SharePoint Online. With the enhanced support for Read & Write Excel blocks, you can now access and edit cloud-hosted Excel files directly from SharePoint, streamlining automation for data-driven processes across your organization.



  • Secure & centralized SSO with Auth0:
    Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) in just a few clicks from the Leapwork Settings. Easily manage new SSO users, rights, and team assignments via the User Management menu in Leapwork Studio, while enabling seamless SSO login for users in the Customer Portal.

     

Retry policies for failed flows

  • Robust error handling:
    Flaky test cases? No problem! With Retry Policies for Failed Flows, QA teams can automatically retry failed test flows due to known intermittent issues without manual intervention.

    • Global: Applies a default retry policy to all run lists and schedules, ensuring baseline recovery for your tests.

    • Run List: Allows custom retry attempts and intervals for individual test runs.

    • Schedule: Enables fully customizable retry settings per schedule, with an option to inherit configurations from the Run List.

 

Flexible Leapwork Cloud Architecture

Freely combine on-premise and cloud components: use a cloud controller with remote agents, or pair an on-premise controller with Leapwork Cloud Agents. No VPN required. Setup is simple:

  • For cloud controllers: Just switch the controller as needed and refresh the license.

  • For Cloud Agents: Manage them independently from the Agents section, just like Remote Agents.

 

Effortless Run List export & import

  • Seamless migration: Easily export run lists from one environment and import them into another while preserving structure and integrity.

  • Improved reliability: The system now detects and resolves conflicts, handles locked or executing run lists, and provides success confirmations.

 

Advanced document handling with four new Cloud Blocks

  • Convert to JSON block:
    Convert XML and CSV files into JSON for streamlined data processing.

  • Convert to PDF block:
    Convert HTML and TXT files into PDF, expanding document automation support, with options to split, merge, and apply branding.

  • Document Information block:
    Extract key metadata (title, author, dates, file size) for compliance, auditing, workflow automation, and automated checks.

  • Extract Document Text block:
    Use OCR to extract text and structured data from images, PDFs, and forms for seamless automation and data processing).

  • Send Email block with attachments: Now include attachments, which are ideal for sharing reports, logs, and other critical files.

  • New Set File block: Upload and set a file as a source for subsequent actions within a flow, with support for data file input, local paths, or Leapwork's File Explorer.

  • New Save File block: Save generated files for future reference or reporting directly from your flow.

  • Expanded logging capabilities for screenshot blocks: Log screenshot blocks now support image file output properties, allowing users to capture and store screenshots dynamically.

  • Enhanced API filtering & data retrieval: Improved filtering, pagination, and flow data access, enabling more efficient automation control and streamlined API interactions.

  • Improved error handling for the Run web Javascript block: Now provides better stability and more informative error messages when scripts fail to execute, enhancing debugging and troubleshooting.

  • PATCH method for HTTP request block: Now supports the PATCH method, allowing users to send partial updates to APIs without unnecessary data, improving efficiency and compatibility with modern web services.

  • TLS 1.3 Upgrade: Enhanced security, reduced latency, and improved compliance with modern standards. Users can configure TLS policies and ensure seamless compatibility with older systems.

  • LambdaTest integration enhancement: Benefit from the new dedicated Proxy flag to improve test stability and network control.

  • PowerBI log analysis improvements: Now including Flow Name and Run List Name in logs to accelerate troubleshooting and analysis.

  • Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) support: Expand test coverage by automating applications using CEF.

  • Select/Deselect all checkbox for Access Key scopes: Now allows users to quickly select or deselect all available scopes when adding or editing an Access Key in Leapwork Studio, improving efficiency and usability.

  • Enable HTTPS configuration in Leapwork Studio: Now includes an Enable HTTPS checkbox in the Controller configuration window, allowing users to easily configure HTTPS without manually editing configuration files.

  • Zephyr Server Integration: Jenkins users can now trigger Leapwork test executions and automatically sync results with Zephyr Scale using a standardized JSON file format. This ensures full traceability and seamless test management across platforms.

  • Customer Portal enhancements: Provides improved visibility and control with new usage reports for Studio activity, a centralized Cloud Components section, and enhanced test insights including pass/fail breakdowns and failure reasons.

Browser driver updates:

  • Chrome/Edge: Updated Chrome/Edge drivers to versions 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, and 134 for enhanced browser compatibility.

  • Firefox: Updated Firefox driver to version 0.35 and updated cloud agents to the highest supported browser version of Firefox.

Mobile driver updates:

  • Appium: Now supporting version 2.13.1.

  • UIAutomator2: Updated to Driver version 3.9.7 and Server version 7.1.9.

  • Android: Support for Android version 15.

  • WDA: Support for WDA version 8.12.1.

  • X-Code: Support for X-Code version 16.2.

  • XCUITEST: Support for XCUITEST Driver version 7.35.

  • iOS: Support for iOS version 18.2.

Electron adapter: Improved element detection, interaction, and reliability in Electron-based applications. Fixes include better checkbox selection, more accurate recorder capture in Azure Data Studio, and smoother window controls in Visual Studio Code.

Microsoft D365: Elevate your experience with refinements in both CE and F&O. Enjoy more precise dropdown behavior for accurate value selection, smoother operations, optimized radio buttons, and robust authentication for increased flow stability.

Salesforce: Upgrade your experience with faster element capture and recorder performance for smoother operations. Benefit from optimized element detection, reliable click interactions, and accurate validations that ensure efficient automation across your Salesforce workflows.

Legal & Compliance: The Non-Personal data and usage insights policy is now available in the Legal Hub on Leapwork’s website. Additionally, the Leapwork Trust Center has been updated, ensuring transparency and easy access to key legal information.

Reporting: Fixed an issue where historical run data appeared grouped under a single date after upgrading, ensuring accurate reporting across versions..

Write Excel Block: Resolved a problem where the 'Local path' setting was lost after upgrading, restoring file output functionality in existing automation flows.
