Welcome to your Leapwork onboarding journey. This document provides an overview of what to expect during onboarding and what we need from you to ensure a smooth and successful implementation.
Our goal is to help you quickly gain value from Leapwork by setting up the platform correctly, enabling your team through training, and helping you automate meaningful test cases.
If you have any questions, you can always contact your Leapwork representatives or visit the Support portal for additional resources. We look forward to helping you succeed with Leapwork!
Getting Started: Key Actions
- Review the Leapwork installation guide and begin provisioning the infrastructure required for installation.
- Coordinate with your IT team to provide remote access for our Professional Services consultants.
- Share the test cases you would like help automating. If these are not yet documented, our team will provide a template to define and structure them.
The Leapwork Onboarding Journey
Your onboarding typically consists of four main stages: Kickoff, Installation, Training, and Professional Services engagement.
Kickoff
The onboarding process begins with an onboarding kickoff meeting where we bring together key stakeholders from both your team and Leapwork. This session ensures alignment on goals, timelines, and responsibilities, and establishes the foundation for a successful collaboration.
Installation
To prepare for installation, please review the documentation relevant to your deployment type:
- Leapwork On-Premise: Review the installation guide for a full overview of system and infrastructure requirements.
- Leapwork Cloud: Follow the instructions provided in the Leapwork Cloud onboarding guide.
Training
Leapwork training is designed to enable your team to confidently build and maintain automated tests. Together we will create a training plan tailored to your needs. To get the most value from the training sessions, we recommend that participants make themselves available for scheduled training sessions.
- Actively participate during the sessions.
- Complete exercises and practice tasks to build hands-on experience.
Learning a new tool can sometimes be challenging, but our professional trainers are there to guide you, answer questions, and ensure your team gains practical automation skills.
Professional Services
Our Professional Services delivery manager and consultants will work closely with you to help implement and automate your initial test scenarios. To ensure a productive engagement, we ask that you review the Professional Services pre-requisites document shared with you.
- Provide remote access to the application(s) that we will be automating with you.
- Assign a single point of contact to help coordinate activities and communication.
- Share test cases you want automated.
If your test cases are not yet documented, that’s completely fine. Our team will provide a recommended format to help you define your scenarios.
By preparing these elements in advance and collaborating closely with our team, you will be well positioned to quickly establish a strong automation foundation with Leapwork.
